Hobbies Awareness Event Held At Pallavi Model School
Pallavi Model School hosted a hobbies awareness event featuring stamp, coin and currency collections and sessions on philately, numismatics and notaphily.
The Hyderabad Philatelic and Hobbies Society (HPHS) organised a Hobbies’ Awareness Event at Pallavi Model School on Wednesday, where students viewed collections of stamps, coins and currency notes and attended sessions on philately, numismatics and notaphily.
School Principal A. S. Vidyadhari inaugurated the programme in the presence of Vice-Principals K. Sulakshana Reddy and K. Shirin Madhuri.
Collections of senior hobbyists formed the exhibition. Senior numismatists Amarbir Singh and Prithvi Reddy, along with senior philatelist Deepak Sethia, spoke to students about the three hobbies and explained their educational value.
HPHS Vice-President Radhakrishna P, Secretary Sagi Srinivas Raju and Purvi Pareek felicitated the Principal and the two Vice-Principals during the programme.
