HMDA RDO Suspended for Skipping ERO Duty in Adilabad

Hyderabad: The State government placed HMDA Deputy Collector (Deputation) M. Sharmila under suspension with immediate effect for not reporting to duty as Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) in Adilabad district and she shall remain under suspension until further orders.
Sharmila was transferred and posted as RDO, Utnoor, designating as Electoral Registration Officer in Adilabad district. But she has not joined duty in the post, affecting Special Intensive Revision (SIR) mapping in the district, according to DS Lokesh, Secretary to Government.
The State government in exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 8 of TCS(CC&A) Rules-1991 placed Sharmila under suspension with immediate effect until further orders. During the period, Sharmila shall not leave the headquarters without obtaining the prior permission
It is further ordered that during the period of suspension, Sharmila shall be paid subsistence allowance as per rules in vogue.
