Heavy Rain Lashes Telangana, Jagtial’s Korutla on High Alert
The north Telangana has been receiving heavy rainfall forcing the district administration to be on high alert

Hyderabad: Heavy rain continues to lash several parts of Telangana since Tuesday evening affecting normal life.
The north Telangana has been receiving heavy rainfall forcing the district administration to be on high alert. The Korutla constituency of Jagtial district has been receiving heavy rain since last night.
Pool Vaagu and Pedda Vagu are flowing with rain water. The ravine is overflowing near Akkepalli village of Chennur mandal of Mancherial district. As a result, traffic between Akkepalli and Shivalingapur villages came to a standstill.
The Nakkalapalli stream in Kotapalli mandal is flowing rapidly. Traffic movement was affected at the level bridge in Nakkalapalli due to the rapid flow of the stream. Motorists in four villages were facing problems because of heavy rain.
Officials have issued warnings not to cross the dangerous streams. Floodwaters have surged into Bogatha waterfall. The floodwaters are increasing due to heavy rains in t upper areas.
The Forest department security personnel are taking appropriate precautions as floodwaters increases. Warnings are being issued not to enter the waterfall. It has been raining continuously since night in Bellampalli constituency of Mancherial district.
