Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based Hearzap has completed the acquisition of Amplifon India’s hearing healthcare business, following the definitive agreement announced in May 2026.
The acquisition brings around 240 hearing care points of sale, including 115 directly operated locations, into Hearzap's network. The acquisition takes Hearzap's footprint to 420 centres across India, supported by more than 1,000 service providers.
Hearzap, founded in 2018, provides hearing assessments, hearing aids, speech and hearing rehabilitation and hearing care services. Amplifon India is part of the Amplifon Group, a hearing healthcare company operating across 24 countries.
Hearzap is targeting a network of 500 centres by 2027. The combined business is expected to cross Rs 230 crore in revenue after integration. Hearzap is targeting revenue of around Rs 250 crore by the end of the current financial year.
The company plans to invest in new hearing care centres, expansion into underserved markets, AI-enabled diagnostics, tele-audiology, rehabilitation services and clinical training.
“We are building a stronger platform capable of delivering hearing healthcare to millions of Indians. Our focus remains on expanding access, strengthening clinical quality and ensuring that every client receives personalised care supported by the latest technologies and international best practices,” said S.
