HC Quashed the Criminal Proceedings Against KTR and Maganti Gopinath

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Friday quashed the chargesheet against BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao, Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath and other BRS leaders, filed by the Charminar police on charges of holding press conferences and conducting rallies without permission, against the government`s proposal to remove Charminar from the state logo.

Justice K. Lakshman was hearing the petition filed by Rama Rao, Gopinath and three others, seeking directions to call for the records relating to criminal proceedings on the file of the Special Judicial First Class Magistrate for Excise Court, Nampally, and quashed the proceedings.
