HC directs Kompally Municipality to examine the allegations of road encroach by real firm
Counsel submitted Google Maps photographs regarding the road

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Friday directed the Kompally municipality to inspect and take action on complaints alleging that the real estate firm Casagrand Hyderwise Private Ltd had encroached on a public road in Survey No. 105 at Kompally of Dundigal Gandimaisamma mandal in Medchal Malkajgiri district.
Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy was dealing with a petition alleging that the officials of the Kompally municipality and HMDA were not considering a representation to conduct a survey and to remove the illegal encroachments. Pranay Sohni, counsel for the petitioner, submitted to the court that the Casagrand Hyderwise, and the landowners G. Ranjith Reddy, former MP, and one Tirupathi Reddy had encroached on the 40-feet-wide public road and erected a gate and sheets and stopped the movement of the general public. Counsel submitted Google Maps photographs regarding the road.
E.V. Pushpa Vardhan, counsel for the real estate firm, argued that his clients did not encroach any land or road and that they were obliged to the village map and other records. The court directed the authorities to consider the representation of the petitioners by inspecting the site and take action, as per the procedure.
