Hyderabad:The Telangana High Court on Monday fumed at school education department officials for not complying with the court orders, delivered a year ago, regarding engaging the DSC 2008 qualifiers as contract teachers.
School education authorities on Monday assured the court that they would implement the orders within three days. Noting the assurance, the court adjourned the hearing to February 17.
In the previous hearing, the court made it clear that if the orders had not been implemented by the next hearing, the authorities have to appear before the court. But, the authorities neither implemented the court orders nor had appeared before the court.
As the court raised its eyebrows in the morning session, the authorities appeared in the afternoon session. They submitted that the delay was due to the MLC elections code and the need to get permissions from the election panel.
