Hyderabad:Senior BRS leader and former minister T. Harish Rao on Monday slammed the government for “paying more interest in issuing notifications to buy liquor than to issue job notifications.” In a statement, Harish Rao said the government issued a notification for purchase of 121 brans of liquor, and asked “why is the state in a rush to procure liquor while leaving the unemployed to their fate.”
Harish Rao said “there are lakhs of unemployed waiting for the government to issue job notifications. This Congress government clearly is not interest in the welfare of people as much as it is in earning revenue from liquor sales. The government which cheated students by not reimbursing their fees, is now again cheating on its promise to give employment to 2 lakh people.”
