Harish Rao Slams CM Revanth Reddy Over Investment Claims

HYDERABAD: Senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao on Tuesday urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy “to focus on real problems being faced by farmers instead of drumming up make-believe stories about bringing investments to Telangana.”

Harish Rao was referring to Tuesday’s press meet where the Chief Minister and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu gave details of investments signed up by the government at the recent World Economic Forum summit in Davos, Switzerland.

Harish Rao said that the Congress government had flopped miserably to convince people that it had brought huge investments from Davos. The Chief Minister was therefore making desperate attempts to make people believe the fake claims.

“Finance minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka says everything that is being talked about are just expression of interests, proposals, and anyone who wants to invest must do so through an open tender process. But the CM claims he got Rs 1.82 lakh crore investments. Who is speaking the truth,” Harish Rao asked.

Instead of wasting time making tall and false claims, Revanth Reddy should focus on ensuring prompt payment of Rythu Bharosa funds to farmers. “He has failed to keep his January 26 promise on this. At least now, the Chief Minister should stop day-dreaming on focus on reality,” Harish Rao said.
