Harish Rao Counters Revanth’s Criticism of BRS Projects

Hyderabad: BRS leader T. Harish Rao criticised Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for stating that the BRS had ignored pending projects in Mahbubnagar during its 10-year tenure in power. He stated that the acreage with irrigation facilities had increased from 26,000 acres to six lakh acres in Mahbubnagar district in the BRS regime.

“It is the TD and the Congress which left Mahbubnagar district in the lurch by neglecting it. Krishna water was brought to the district by BRS under KCR,” he said.

“Did the BRS not give welfare schemes without seeking any requisitions? We gave `73,000 crores in Rythu Bandhu in 11 instalments. Kalyana Lakshmi scheme was given to 13 lakh beneficiaries and Aasara pension to those aged 57 years and above,” Harish Rao said and added: “Revanth Reddy is obsessed with abusing the Opposition parties and KCR.”

The BRS leader asked if the Congress government had taken up any new work in its one year in power. “Did he give a single speech without naming KCR? He is reminded of KCR even in Davos,” Harish Rao said.

Revanth Reddy had “accused KCR of giving Rythu Bandhu to big landowners and promised to give it to those eligible. Where is the implementation now? The scheme has not been stopped to the big landowners by not setting a limit to land holding,” Harish Rao said.

He said the Chief Minister had got a district collector to salute his brother. “Is this the social work he is into? While the Congress which ruled for 50 years established five medical colleges the count increased to 30 during our tenure,” he said.

Harish Rao also condoled the death of Telangana votary, journalist and former MLC Satyanarayana. “He left his mark as a member of the Telangana Public Service Commission,” Harish Rao recalled.

KTR Slams Congress Over Delays in Welfare Scheme Rollout
Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao criticised the state government for initiating the four new welfare schemes in one village per mandal. He accused the Congress of setting multiple deadlines, repeatedly delaying the implementation of welfare schemes, and ultimately deceiving the people.

He said that neither during the election campaign nor until Saturday evening did the government mention implementing schemes in one village per mandal. At this rate, he said, it would take at least 60 years to implement schemes across the state.
