Harish Meets KCR to Discuss Kaleshwaram Notices

Hyderabad: Senior BRS leader and former irrigation minister T. Harish Rao on Thursday met with party president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and the two leaders reportedly discussed the way forward on the issue of notices sent to them by the Justice PC Ghose commission of inquiry probing various aspects of the Kaleshwaram project barrages.
The two BRS leaders’ role was repeatedly pointed out as vital in the decision making process of many aspects related to the planning, design and construction of the barrages during cross-examination of several former and current officials by the commission. These officials had served during the BRS regime in the irrigation, finance departments and in the then Chief Minister’s Office.
It is learnt that Chandrashekar Rao said there was no need for any concern or excitement on the matter and that they should wait to receive the notices first and only after that discuss, or take any decision on the issue.
