Hare Krishna Golden Temple Prepares for Grand Sri Narasimha Jayanti Celebrations on April 30

Hyderabad: The Hare Krishna Golden Temple, Banjara Hills, said it had made elaborate arrangements for the Sri Narasimha Jayanti, to celebrated on April 30. Sri Narasimha Jayanti, also known as Sri Narasimha Chaturdasi, is an important festival that marks appearance day of Lord Sri Narasimha, a statement said.
The Hare Krishna Golden Temple was one of the ancient Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swami temples in the city, it said. The presiding deity is a sacred Swayam Vyakta (Swayambhu) deity who appeared on Udbhava Shila, representing a rare standing posture of the Lord along with Lakshmi Devi, and is believed to have been worshipped since the 8th century CE.
