Nalgonda: Nampally and Marriguda mandals in Nalgonda district witnessed a hailstorm on Tuesday evening.
Paddy stocks at procurement centres in several villages of the two mandals were soaked in rainwater. Owing to strong winds, tarpaulin covers placed over the paddy stocks were blown away at some places.
Nalgonda mandal also witnessed moderate rain accompanied by strong winds in the evening.
