Gym Trainer Killed in Medipally, Love Angle Suspected

Hyderabad: A 34-year-old gym trainer, Sai Kishore, succumbed to injuries on Tuesday after being attacked with dumbbells at his gym in Medipally by three persons, one of them identified as Chanti Babu. The assailants, who pounded Kishore on the chest with dumbbells repeatedly, fled the scene after the attack.

According to police, Kishore was rushed to a nearby hospital but died during treatment. CCTV footage from inside and outside the gym showed one Chanti Babu arriving at the scene with two others. The trio were seen attacking the victim and fleeing immediately after.
While initial suspicion pointed to previous enmity, investigators are now probing a possible extramarital affair as the motive. Medipally police have registered a case and launched a manhunt. According to the sources, one of the accused has reportedly been detained while two others remain absconding. The investigation is ongoing.
