Govt Residential Colleges Top Pass Percentage List

Government-run residential junior colleges and welfare institutions performed exceptionally well in the 2025 Intermediate Public Examinations, surpassing the state's average pass percentage

Hyderabad: Government-run residential junior colleges and welfare institutions performed remarkably in the Intermediate Public Examinations results, 2025, by surpassing the average state percentage.

TGRJC topped the list by securing 92.73 pass percentage in the first year and 92.9 in the second. Other government welfare institutions including BC Welfare, Social Welfare and Minority Residential Junior Colleges, also performed better than private colleges.
A total of 9,97,901 students appeared for theory exams, which were conducted between March 5 and March 25 at 1,532 centres. The results were announced by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday at the Board of Intermediate Education office, Nampally. He congratulated students who passed the exams.
A total of 4,88,430 students appeared for the first year exams, including general and vocational streams. The total pass percentage of the first year students is 65.96 per cent. Out of 5,08,582 students who appeared for the second year exams, only 65.65 per cent cleared the exam.
Girls secured higher pass percentages in both the first and second year results. Girls secured 73.83 pass percentage in the first year, while they bettered it with a 74.21 per cent in the second year. Boys had a pass percentage of 57.83 per cent in the first year, followed by 57.31 pass percentage in the second year.
Two girls Induri Rashmitha and Varanasi Manaswi scored 996/1000 in MPC stream, sharing the top spot with Kuna Ruthwik and Pallepangu Vasanth Kumar.
In the BPC stream, Jakku Anjana emerged as the top scorer with 997/1000. followed by Kethavathi Akhila, Dongri Jhyothsna Sri, Afshaan Jabeen, Vantipulli. Notably, girls dominated the top ranks in the BPC stream.
Yenburi Kevin Joseph topped with 988/1000 in the CEC stream, followed by Bhakthu Greeshma scored 987/1000.
Dhulipalla Lakshmi Sravya, Ch.Lakshmi Bhavitha, Thota Poojitha Naidu, Nitya Santoshini secured top marks 990/1000 marks in MEC stream.
In the first year, the general stream pass percentage has increased to 66.89 per cent in 2025 from 61.06 per cent in 2024. While second year pass percentage increased to 71.37 per cent in 2025 from 69.46 per cent in 2024.
In the vocational stream for the first year percentage increased to 57.68 per cent in 2025 from 50.57 per cent in 2024. The second year increased to 67.44 per cent in 2025 from 63.86 per cent in 2024.
In terms of the district-wise performance, Medchal Malkajgiri district topped the list in the first year exams with 77.2 per cent pass percentage, followed by Rangareddy 76.36 per cent and Komram Bheem(Asifabad) with 70.52 per cent. Mahabubabad recorded lowest percentage with 48.34 per cent.
In the second year results, Mulugu district topped with 81.06 per cent, followed by Komram Bheem(Asifabad)- 80.24 per cent and Medchal 77.91 per cent. Kamareddy district recorded the lowest with 56.38 per cent
The results are made available on two websites at tgbie.cgg.gov.in and results.cgg.gov.in. Short Memos are made available to students from Tuesday 5 pm onwards which can be downloaded from tgbie.cgg.gov.in. Students are requested to take colour printout and keep it as a record till the pass certificate with marks is supplied by the board.
Students can apply for recounting and scanned copy-cum-re-verification from April 23 to April 30, 2025. The advanced supplementary theory exams will be conducted from May 22 in two sessions, and practical examinations will be held from June 3 to June 6. Students can pay the supplementary fee from April 23 to April 30 at their respective colleges.
