Govt Invites KCR To Medaram Jatara, Seethakka Says He Agreed To Do So

The ministers handed over the invitation to the Raos and also presented them with ‘Bangaram prasadam’ (jaggery traditionally offered to the deities), and new clothes

Hyderabad: The government on Thursday invited former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to the Medaram Jatara with ministers Konda Surekha and Danasari ‘Seethakka’ Anasuya calling on the BRS president at his farmhouse in Erravalli in Siddipet district.
Seethakka told reporters later that Rao, and his wife Shobha, told them that they would visit Medaram for the Samakka-Saralamma Jatara. The ministers handed over the invitation to the Raos and also presented them with ‘Bangaram prasadam’ (jaggery traditionally offered to the deities), and new clothes.
“They thanked us for the invitation and said they will come for the jatara. Chandrashekar Rao also inquired about the Medaram temple works and their progress,” Seethakka said. She said the government invited the leaders of Opposition parties. Since it was not possible to do so with Chandrashekar Rao, they came to his house to extend the invitation.
Before the ministers left Chandrashekar Rao’s residence, they were presented with new saris by Shobha Rao.
