Government Officials Complete First Phase of Land Survey in Erravalli
Survey of KCR’s farmhouse will be taken up in the second phase

SIDDIPET: The survey of government lands near former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s farmhouse in Erravalli village of Markook mandal in Siddipet district has been completed as part of the first phase of the exercise undertaken by officials.
Officials have not yet entered KCR’s farmhouse during the ongoing survey. However, they have prepared detailed notes and submitted them to higher officials for perusal.
Officials of the Survey and land records department are fixing the boundaries in Survey No. 325 covering Erravalli and Shivar Venkatapur villages. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had announced during the Assembly session that government lands had been encroached upon in Erravalli, where BRS supremo Chandrashekar Rao owns a farmhouse where he often stays.
Over the past 10 days, officials of the Revenue, survey and land records departments have issued notices to 214 farmers in the area. They have conducted Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) surveys and collected details of people occupying or cultivating the lands. Some farmers have already produced documents relating to their cultivation of government lands.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, survey and land records department assistant director Rathod Sudarshan said the details collected would be submitted to Siddipet district collector K. Haimavathi. However, he said consolidation of the survey reports would take time.
Officials have also collected details of the longitude and latitude coordinates of government lands spread across Erravalli and Shivar Venkatapur villages. Allegations that the former chief minister and other private persons had occupied government lands in Erravalli will be verified during the second phase of the survey. There is suspense in Erravalli and Shivar Venkatapur villages over when officials will begin the survey involving KCR’s farmhouse.
