Gopalakrishnan Assumes Charge As Railway ADRM

Dr Gopalakrishnan has managed operations and commercial functions in the complex Mumbai suburban railway system and also led nationwide petroleum logistics at the Railway Board

Hyderabad, July 25: Dr R. Gopalakrishnan, a 1998 batch officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), has assumed charge as the Secunderabad divisional railway manager.

Dr Gopalakrishnan holds a BTech in mechanical engineering from IIT Delhi, an MBA from the faculty of management studies (FMS), University of Delhi, and a PhD in engineering systems and design from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).

Dr Gopalakrishnan has managed operations and commercial functions in the complex Mumbai suburban railway system and also led nationwide petroleum logistics at the Railway Board. A significant milestone in his career was the establishment of the Indian Railways Data Analytics Unit, which he led for five years.
