Golden Key Ventures have encroached areas in Ameenpur’s Venkataramana colony: HYDRAA

Hyderabad: The Ameenpur Plot Owners’ Association has alleged that nearly 400 plots in Venkataramana colony at Ameenpur have been encroached by Golden Key Ventures.
Addressing the media here on Friday, members of the association said that they had purchased these plots in HUDA and gram panchayat layouts between 1986 and 1987.
HYDRAA had confirmed that the parks and roads belonging to the colony had been encroached by Golden Key Ventures, and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had already attached Golden Key properties in the wake of several allegations.
A HYDRAA official told Deccan Chronicle, “We conducted surveys in the colony early November. We spoke to residents of Venkataramana colony and Chakrapuri colony and also managers of Golden Key Ventures. Our initial surveys showed that Golden Key had encroached on the park space and roads in Venkataramana colony.”
The agency authorities said that they are planning to conduct a more detailed joint survey of the colony, in collaboration with Survey of India and ED, and in the presence of all stakeholders, to find out whether other plots and spaces were also encroached.
They pointed out that residents from neighbouring colonies, including RTC colony, Rangarao Venture, and Chakrapuri colony, had also raised complaints about encroachments, which will also be addressed during the ensuing survey.
“We assure all residents that their concerns would be addressed and that no one should worry about any encroachments. Our primary objective is to restore community spaces and ensure that all plots remain with their rightful owners”, the official said.
