Golconda Police Arrest Film Director in Marriage Fraud Case
Based on a complaint received from the victim, the police booked a case against Pavan Sadineni under relevant provisions of BNS and arrested him.
Hyderabad: A film director, Pavan Sadineni, was arrested by the Golconda police for allegedly duping a woman by promising to marry her after maintaining a live-in relationship with her.
Assuring that he would offer better roles in movies, Pavan (40), a resident of Narsingi, allegedly started maintaining a live-in relationship with her. He also promised to marry her, but of late, started ignoring her, which prompted her to lodge a complaint with the police.
Based on a complaint received from the victim, the police booked a case against Pavan under relevant provisions of BNS and arrested him. Golconda Inspector P Saidulu said the film director was presently lodged in Chanchalguda prison after being remanded to judicial custody.
He entered the Telugu film industry in 2013, and ‘Akasamlo Okatara’ and ' Prem Ishq Kadal ' were among the movies he directed apart from several web series. Currently, Pawan Sadineni is directing a film with Malayalam star hero Dulquer Salmaan.
