GHMC to Issue Trade Licences to 3.5 L Properties

Hyderabad: The GHMC has decided to ensure that all 3.5 lakh non-residential properties under its jurisdiction are issued trade licence certificates. From now on, responsibility for issuing trade licences and collecting associated fees will rest with deputy commissioners. These tasks were previously handled by the property tax wing.

As part of this exercise, all six zonal commissioners were instructed on Saturday by the commissioner to submit weekly reports on the number of non-residential properties in their zones and the progress made in issuing trade licences.
