GHMC Expands 'Udvasana' Sacred Collection Drive to 12 Centres
GHMC has expanded its 'Udvasana' sacred collection drive to 12 centres across Hyderabad following encouraging public response.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has expanded its ‘Udvasana’ sacred collection drive by increasing the number of collection centres to 12 across the city following public response to earlier phases.
The third phase of the programme will be held on July 18 from 8.30 am to 11 am. Citizens have been asked to bring old deity photographs, damaged frames, worn-out idols, puja items and calendars for respectful farewell rituals and environmentally responsible disposal. GHMC said no items will be accepted after 11 am.
The newly added centres include Ameerpet 7 Temples, Sri Venkateswara Swamy Devasthanam at Moosarambagh, Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Attapur, Kashi Bugga Shiva Temple at Badangpet, Sitaram Bagh temple at Goshamahal and Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Devalaya Nirmana Samasthan at Musheerabad.
