Hyderabad: The recent increase in divisions within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has been challenged in the High Court by petitioner Vinay Kumar. His plea, which requested an urgent hearing, was taken up by Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy.
Kumar argued in his petition that the government did not adequately consider public objections during the GHMC division reorganisation. Consequently, he has asked the court to instruct the authorities to review and respond to the objections he submitted before the new division structure is officially finalised.
