Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has stepped up its efforts to control mosquito breeding in the city by deploying drones to spray larvicide at mosquito breeding sites.
Drones are used to spray the waterlogged areas, stagnant water bodies, open plots, drains and other locations where mosquitoes are likely to breed. It is particularly useful in areas that are difficult or risky for workers to access manually.
