Hyderabad: After the introduction of Comprehensive Challan Management System (CCMS), a mobile app, the GHMC within two months has levied Rs 44 lakh penalty for littering in public places.
The penalties were imposed in all the 30 circles of the corporation on people dumping debris in nalas, garbage in water bodies and on roads too. The app has been given to officials of the town planning wing too in addition to the sanitation wing.
