GHMC Announces Deadlines for Trade Licence Renewal
Avoid penalties, renew your 2026 trade licence on time
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has urged all trade establishments across the city to renew their trade licences for the year 2026 on or before December 20 to avoid penalties.
Due to the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) being in force till November 16 due to Jubilee Hills byelection, the last date of submission for new trade licence and renewal of existing trade licence applications is deferred by 20 days.
The deferred last date of application is December 20. If the licence is renewed from December 1, 2025 to December 20, 2025, there will be no penalty. On or before February 19, 2026, the penalty is 25 % and from February 20, 2026 onwards, it is 50%. For more information, traders can visit the GHMC website at www.ghmc.gov.in.
