Karimnagar: The Godavarikhani Opencast-5 coal mine in Ramagundam-I division of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) recorded its highest single-day coal dispatch on Wednesday, sending 13,024 tonnes against the target of 8,907 tonnes.
The mine achieved 146 per cent of its target.
RG-I general manager D. Lalith Kumar appreciated the supervisors, workers, contract staff and trade union leaders for achieving the target.
He advised employees of all coal mines to work with the same spirit to achieve their targets and stressed the need to speed up coal transportation along with production.
