Ganesh Festival: Markets in Hyderabad Teem With Shoppers

The environs of Monda Market in Secunderabad, Kothapet, Gudimalkapur and Begum Bazaar, among other areas came alive with devotees who purchased flowers, coconuts, fruits and other paraphernalia for performing pooja.

Braving slush that generated due to rain water at Monda Market, devotees did festival shopping.

The shopkeepers did brisk business, cashing in on the demand of the devotees. In spite of facing problems to park their vehicles, devotees managed to find place enabling them to do shopping for the festival at the markets.
