Hyderabad: A 20‑year‑old migrant worker from Bihar allegedly took his life due to online gaming addiction and financial stress. His decomposed body was found in an isolated area under Keshampet police station limits after four days of being missing.
The deceased, Guddu Kumar Yadav, had moved to Hyderabad two months ago and was working as a labourer. He lived with his elder brother, Bablu Kumar Yadav, who said Guddu was heavily addicted to online gaming and frequently lost money. Despite warnings, Guddu continued playing.

Woman Attempts Suicide Over Threats for Feeding Strays
Hyderabad: A 36‑year‑old woman allegedly attempted suicide after being threatened for feeding stray dogs in her colony in Ameenpur.
The woman, identified as Pratibha, was regularly feeding street dogs when she was confronted by neighbours. A woman claiming NGO links allegedly warned her that her house would be seized if she continued to feed stray dogs in the colony. Distressed and fearful, Pratibha allegedly attempted suicide.
She was rushed to a private hospital and is said to be stable. Ameenpur police said they have not received any petition from the victim or her family.
Pub Dancer Murdered
Hyderabad: A 27‑year‑old pub dancer was murdered by an alleged stalker at an isolated location in Erragadda on Sunday night, Borabanda police said.
The victim, Fatima, had earlier been in a relationship with Zaheeruddin but had stopped meeting him. On Sunday, he persuaded her to meet, claiming they would settle matters. He picked her up from Begumpet and took her near the Erragadda Mental Hospital, where after an argument he allegedly stabbed her multiple times, hurled a boulder on her body, and fled.
Fatima, a resident of Karkhana in Secunderabad, was married with two children. Her husband works as a car driver, police said.
