HYDERABAD: The Future City police commissionerate has launched a five‑day training programme to strengthen technological capabilities and investigation skills of its personnel. Initiated under the guidance of commissioner Dr Tarun Joshi, the programme is being conducted for circle inspectors, sub‑inspectors and other staff.
It focuses on modern software applications, digital policing tools and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in daily policing and investigations. Training covers CCTNS, FIR‑to‑charge sheet processes, intelligence and field tools, eSakshya, eSummons and cybercrime platforms.
Personnel are also being trained in criminal justice systems, social media monitoring, OSINT tools and AI‑based applications for facial recognition, CCTV analytics, biometrics, translation, cyber forensics and crime analysis. Officials said emphasis is on practical techniques, cybercrime response and responsible use of AI, including verification of AI‑generated information and protection of sensitive data.
The programme, aimed at building a technology‑enabled police force, is being conducted by T‑SPARK at the CID Office in Hyderabad.
