Fulfil Poll Promises, Not Personal Vendettas: KTR to CM Revanth Reddy
KTR slammed the CM's choice of words and said it was unbecoming of a Chief Minister

HYDERABAD: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Friday accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of “repeated use of abusive, uncivilised and irresponsible language” and for making derogatory remarks against BRS president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
Addressing party leaders and workers at Telangana Bhavan, Rama Rao said Revanth Reddy’s conduct had “lowered the dignity of the constitutional office of the Chief Minister and exposed his inability to answer serious public questions.”
Revanth Reddy was resorting to foul language only because he had no answers to the direct and pointed questions raised by Chandrashekar about the Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation scheme, Rama Rao contended.
Calling Revanth Reddy’s reaction as one born of frustration, Rama Rao alleged that instead of fighting for Telangana’s rights, Revanth Reddy chose to divert public attention by abusing the opposition.
Rama Rao said he was “seething with anger, both as KCR’s son and as a party worker,” at Revanth Reddy’s repeated personal attacks on Chandrashekar Rao. “But I will not respond in kind as he respects the constitutional office of the Chief Minister.”
He said that when the Leader of the Opposition asked legitimate questions on behalf of the people, the Chief Minister should respond with accountability, not intimidation. “Revanth Reddy’s anger stems from fear of exposure of alleged real estate dealings, land-related controversies and the ‘Future City’ drama,” Rama Rao alleged.
