Kurnool: A road accident occurred on Tuesday night when a vehicle carrying students from the Mantralayam Vedapathashala in Kurnool district overturned, resulting in the death of four people.
The students from Mantralayam, en route to the Hampi temple in Karnataka for a pilgrimage to the Narahari Teertha, were traveling in a vehicle carrying 14 passengers. The accident occurred near Sindhanur in Karnataka, where the vehicle overturned.
The driver, Shiva, and three Vedapathashala students, Abhilash, Hayavadana, and Sujendra, lost their lives in the incident. Several other students sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Sindhanur Hospital. Local police registered a case and are investigating.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
