Former Minister Harish Rao’s Father T Satyanarayana Rao Passes Away
BRS MLA’s father breathed his last in the early hours of Tuesday; final rites to be held at Mahaprasthanam in Film Nagar
Hyderabad: Senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao’s father T. Satyanarayana Rao passed away during the early hours of Tuesday. Satyanarayana Rao was 75. The funeral was held at Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills in the afternoon. As a mark of respect, the BRS suspended all its activities on Tuesday.
A native of Kothapalli in Karimnagar district, Satyanarayana Rao had been unwell for some time.
BRS president and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and several leaders visited Harish Rao’s residence in Kokapet where Satyanarayana Rao’s body was placed for the people to pay their respects. BRS working president and Harish Rao’s nephew K.T. Rama Rao also rushed to Kokapet to be with Harish Rao.
Leading those expressing condolences at the passing of Harish Rao’s father were Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, several ministers, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, MLAs, MPs, and MLCs. Several ministers including G. Vivek Venkatswamy, and Ponnam Prabhakar went to Kokapet and met with Harish Rao and paid their respects to Satyanarayana Rao.
