Former BRS MLA Sudarshan Reddy Shifted to Hyderabad After Heart Attack
BRS leader moved from Hanumakonda after emergency care; condition reported stable
Warangal: Former Narsampet MLA and BRS leader Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, who suffered a heart attack on Sunday morning, has been shifted to a private hospital in Hyderabad for advanced treatment. He was initially admitted to a private hospital in Hanumakonda.
Reddy developed complications at his residence in Hanumakonda and was rushed to Rohini Hospital, where doctors revived him after nearly an hour of CPR.
Cardiologist Dr Mamatha Reddy said a blood clot in a major artery caused blockages. “We administered medication to dissolve the clot and performed an angiogram. His pulse stabilised,” she said, adding that he was shifted to Hyderabad on ventilator support as per the family’s decision.
Meanwhile, BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao closely monitored Reddy’s health condition and remained in constant touch with family members and party leaders.
KCR directed party working president K. T. Rama Rao to stay in Hyderabad and ensure that Sudarshan Reddy receives the best possible medical care. He also alerted senior leaders to oversee arrangements for treatment.
Senior leaders, including T. Harish Rao and other party members, have been coordinating with doctors and the family. KCR has been regularly reviewing updates from doctors regarding Reddy’s condition and the ongoing treatment efforts.
Doctors informed that the BRS leader’s condition is currently stable, while efforts are underway to provide him with advanced care in Hyderabad.
