Food Safety Squad Flags Hygiene Lapses at Secunderabad’s Garden Restaurant

Officials said necessary action has been initiated under the Food Safety and Standards Act- 2006

Hyderabad: The Food Safety Flying Squad inspected Garden Restaurant in Secunderabad and observed serious hygiene and food safety violations.

The squad found housefly infestation, poor sanitation, uncovered and unlabelled food, cross-contamination risks, unhygienic refrigerators, improper storage practices, and absence of mandatory records such as pest control, food handlers' medical certificates and water analysis reports.

Officials said necessary action has been initiated under the Food Safety and Standards Act- 2006.
