He said officials should effectively implement the National Food Security Act 2013 and ensure that nutritious food, ration and food security schemes reach the eligible poor.

Adilabad:Telangana Food Commission chairman Goli Srinivas Reddy on Wednesday reviewed the adulterated food situation in the Adilabad district.
He said officials should effectively implement the National Food Security Act 2013 and ensure that nutritious food, ration and food security schemes reach the eligible poor.
The chairman checked the quality of the eggs being served to the children in the Anganwadis and government hostels and instructed the officials to provide quality food as per the prescribed menu to the students in the hostels and pregnant women and lactating women at Anganwadis. Food commission member Oraganti Anand, collector Rajarshi Shah and others were present.
