Food Inspectors Raid Ameerpet KGN Juice Centre

Hyderabad: KGN Juice Centre, located opposite Government General Hospital in Ameerpet, has been issued a notice under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, following an inspection that revealed multiple violations, including operating without a valid FSSAI license and maintaining highly unhygienic conditions.

The inspection, conducted by food safety officials, uncovered several alarming issues at the establishment:
The refrigerator was found in a highly unhygienic state.
Numerous houseflies were observed in the juice preparation area, posing a contamination risk.
Spoiled fruit salad was stored in the refrigerator, intended for human consumption.
Unlabelled food articles were detected, violating FSSAI labelling regulations.
The premises itself was deemed unhygienic, with open dustbins further exacerbating the unsanitary conditions.
