Hyderabad: Firefighters on Thursday rescued an eagle that was entangled in Chinese manja on a tree near Gate No. 3 of the High Court building in the city. On receiving information, the firefighters immediately rushed to the spot and carried out a swift and successful rescue operation and saved the Eagle, T. Venkanna DFO (HC-District Fire Officer) Hyderabad told Deccan Chronicle.
The Eagle has been shifted to a government vet hospital for treatment and later handed over to the forest department. Now, the bird's condition is stable, Venkanna said.
The entire rescue operation was performed within 30 minutes under the supervision of Venkanna and Station Fire Officer, High Court, K. Rajkumar.
