Fire breaks out in Yousufguda apartment, no casualties reported

After receiving a distress call, officials rushed two fire tenders from Jubilee Hills and Panjagutta fire stations to the spot.

Hyderabad: Fire broke out in an apartment building at Yousufguda under Jubilee Hills police on Friday. No injuries or casualties were reported. According to the officials, the fire occurred on the top floor of the four-storey Viswa Vihara apartment in Yousufguda.

After receiving a distress call, officials rushed two fire tenders from Jubilee Hills and Panjagutta fire stations to the spot. Firefighters launched an operation to control the flames and prevent them from spreading to other portions of the building. Assistant district fire officer N. Durga Prasad and station fire officer P. Sai Reddy from Jubilee Hills supervised the operations. The blaze was brought under control in time, preventing major damage to the building. Residents were moved to safety as a precautionary measure. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained and officials are conducting further inquiry into the incident.
