FIR Details Harassment of Minor Girl by Accused

Rajkumar killed the girl along with her mother and grandmother, apart from his wife and two children, before fleeing in his car.

Hyderabad:Thirty‑five‑year‑old P. Rajkumar, wanted in connection with six murders including those of two children committed on Friday night, had been harassing a 16‑year‑old girl for the past year, according to the First Information Report (FIR).

Rajkumar killed the girl along with her mother and grandmother, apart from his wife and two children, before fleeing in his car. Shabad police had earlier booked a case against him under Sections 78 and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) read with Section 12 of the Pocso Act on May 16, 2026, based on a complaint lodged by the girl’s mother.

In her complaint, she stated that Rajkumar, a resident of Dhaivalguda, had been troubling her younger daughter, insisting that she speak with him over the phone. Though married with two children, Rajkumar continuously followed and harassed the girl, an intermediate first‑year student in a private college in Shamshabad. He obstructed her on the way to college and threatened to kill her if she refused to talk to him.

Fearing his threats, the complainant stopped sending her daughter to college for six months. Rajkumar, whose house was located beside theirs, installed CCTV cameras facing their residence and monitored their movements.

On May 16, when the complainant took her daughter to appear for the intermediate exam in Shamshabad, Rajkumar was seen wandering near the college. As the girl came out after the exam, he caught hold of her hand and tried to drag her away. The complainant intervened and left the premises with her daughter. Rajkumar chased them, threatening to kill them, prompting the mother to lodge a complaint with police.
