Father, Son Duo From Guntur Killed In Nalgonda Road Mishap

Nalgonda, July 7: A man and his son died in a road accident early on Monday at Rayunigudem in Thipparthy mandal of Nalgonda district. The victims were identified as K. Nageshwara Rao and his son Abhishek, both natives of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
According to police, the accident occurred when a container truck rammed into a stationary car parked on the roadside. The victims, who were travelling from Guntur to Hyderabad, had pulled over at Rayunigudem for a brief break when the truck hit their vehicle from behind.
Police cited negligent driving by the truck driver as the cause of the accident. Thipparthy police arrived at the scene and shifted the bodies to the Government General Hospital in Nalgonda for post-mortem examination.
