Farmers Hope Bhu Bharati Will End Land Woes
Land applicants in Adilabad share years of struggle, revenue minister assures swift resolution under the new Act

Adilabad: Farmers who suffered a lot with Dharani portal have pinned hopes on Bhu Bharati to resolve their land disputes, which have been pending for the last 20 years.
Applicants spoke about the hardships they faced with Dharani at the Bhu Bharati Act awareness programme held at Pusai village in Jainad mandal in the Adilabad district on Friday.
Kapre Dattu of Tharoda village of Bhoraj mandal said Sada Binama caused him problems in getting patta to their lands, and now the state government gave the options for changes through Bhu Bharati, unlike Dharani. He hoped that soon he would get the patta for the land with the help of the new Act.
He regretted that Dharani gave him a sleepless night, and it became a nightmare for many poor people like him.
Another woman applicant, Shaluna of Bhoraj mandal, said even though they went to CCLA in Hyderabad to resolve the mistakes that occurred regarding their land, nothing happened.
Responding to applicants, who poured out their hardships with the Dharani, revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy asked whether the latter applied under Bhu Bharati online or not and added that their pending problems related to lands will be resolved soon.
