Karimnagar: A family alleged that a plastic cover was found in a biryani served at a restaurant in Metpally town on Sunday and demanded action from the food safety authorities.
According to the family, they had visited a restaurant and ordered biryani when they noticed a piece of plastic in the food while eating.
The family alleged that when they brought the matter to the restaurant management's attention, they received an unsatisfactory response. They claimed the management offered to replace the dish and asked them to leave the restaurant.
The family urged food safety department officials to inspect the restaurant and verify the quality and hygiene of the food being served.
