Fake Liquor Brand Labels Racket Busted in Kushaiguda, 2 Held
The two arrested persons were handed over to Huzurnagar excise sleuths for further action

Hyderabad: The sleuths of Telangana Prohibition and Excise department here on Tuesday busted a fake liquor brand labels racket with the arrest of two persons.
Based on reliable information regarding illegal printing of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) labels by Gaddameedi Naveen Goud, who was A9 in Huzurnagar spurious liquor case and his associates at Shiva Sai Nagar in Kushaiguda, a State Task Force (STF) team led by Excise Superintendent, N Anji Reddy, raided a premise in Kushaiguda and seized the material being used for preparing duplicate labels.
Reddy said Prakash was the partner of Naveen Goud while Rajesh was an assistant to him. Presently, Naveen Goud is in judicial custody and lodged in Huzurnagar sub-jail after he was arrested three days ago. The fake labels of liquor brands - AC Black Whisky, No.1 Mc Whisky, Old Admiral Brandy, Kerala Malt Whisky, Royal Stag Whisky and duplicate heals were printing in the press since one and a half year and supplying the same to one Ruttala Srinivas who is the organizer of the spurious liquor rocket at Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.
Reddy said the two arrested persons were handed over to Huzurnagar excise sleuths for further action.
