Man from Srikakulam held for impersonation; allegedly duped women via matrimonial platforms
Hyderabad: A man posing as a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officer was apprehended by security personnel at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.
The accused, identified as Balakrishna from Srikakulam, was found wearing a CISF uniform and taking photographs inside the airport premises, which aroused suspicion among the genuine CISF staff. Upon questioning, officials discovered that he was not an authorized personnel.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused had allegedly been using matrimonial platforms to approach and deceive multiple women. Police said that after separating from his first wife, he began impersonating a CISF officer in an attempt to remarry.
