Fake Certificate Racket Busted in Korutla, One Held

Acting on credible information, Korutla police and CCS officers conducted a joint raid and took Venugopal into custody. A case has been registered against him, and he has been remanded.

Karimnagar: Police arrested a man allegedly running a fake certificate racket in Korutla mandal, Jagtial district, on Wednesday, seizing 106 counterfeit certificates along with a computer, printer, and lamination machine.

The accused, identified as 45 year old Rudhra Venugopal of Adarsh Nagar in Korutla mandal, operated “Mantra Online Centre” in Pochamma Wada. For the past two years, he reportedly created forged SSC, intermediate, degree, BTech, and even death certificates using Photoshop, selling them for illicit profit.

Acting on credible information, Korutla police and CCS officers conducted a joint raid and took Venugopal into custody. A case has been registered against him, and he has been remanded.

Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar commended the investigation team, CI Suresh Babu; CCS Inspector Srinivas; SI Chiranjeevi; and constables Raju, Afrooz, Sajid, Vinod, Suresh, and Kamalakar, for their prompt action.
