The union also submitted an online representation to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, urging the government to immediately resolve the pending issues of 2023-batch junior lecturers and issues related to government junior colleges.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Gazetted Junior Lecturers’ Association has sought extension of the midday meal scheme, which is being implemented on a pilot basis, in all government junior colleges in the state.

Association’s state president Dr Vaskula Srinivas and state secretary Koppisetti Suresh said, “Nearly a month has passed since the reopening of colleges and the scheme is being implemented only in a few colleges.”

The union also submitted an online representation to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, urging the government to immediately resolve the pending issues of 2023-batch junior lecturers and issues related to government junior colleges.

They said that despite a favourable judgment by the Telangana High Court, its implementation is being delayed, including increments and other issues.
