Etala Vows Loyalty amid Political Turmoil

Rajendar also warned against covert operatives, remarking that such individuals are found not only in politics but in every sphere. He ended his speech by promising regular visits to Huzurabad and reaffirming his dedication to ensuring victory for his supporters.

Hyderabad: Malkajgiri BJP MP Etala Rajendar, who recently lost the race for state party president, broke his silence with an emotionally charged address, making it clear that he doesn’t differentiate between “old” and “new” members in political parties and does not depend on anyone’s blessings to continue his public life.

Addressing a gathering of supporters from Huzurabad on Saturday, who filled the air with slogans like “Jai Jai Etala” and “Huzurabad Gadda – Etala Adda,” Rajendar spoke candidly about the rumours, misinformation, and internal conspiracies circulating on social media. He emphasised his belief in straight talk, declaring, “I never say one thing in public and another behind closed doors.”

Striking a philosophical tone, Rajendar reflected on the power of time, expressing confidence that both people and time will eventually deliver the appropriate response to current challenges. “I believe in a straight fight, not street fights. I am not afraid to speak the truth and confront opponents directly. As part of political life, one must endure insults and humiliation, but the people never betray their true leaders,” he asserted.

Rajendar recounted the humiliation he endured in the BRS since 2021, offering a veiled warning, without taking names, to those he labeled as “psycho and sadist,” suggesting he is well aware of who emboldened them.

Highlighting his deep-rooted connection to the Huzurabad region, Rajendar stated that there is hardly a village in the erstwhile Karimnagar district he has not visited. “A true leader knows when to remain patient and never retreats from their chosen path,” he noted, adding that his supporters in Huzurabad have not faced defeat in local body elections during the past two decades.

Urging the BJP to capitalise on his experience, Rajendar observed, “A party cannot become strong without the personal growth of its leaders. I am not in a situation where I cannot fulfill the political aspirations of my supporters.” He clarified that his commitment to work sincerely for whichever party he is part of remains unwavering and that holding positions was never his primary goal.

Rajendar also warned against covert operatives, remarking that such individuals are found not only in politics but in every sphere. He ended his speech by promising regular visits to Huzurabad and reaffirming his dedication to ensuring victory for his supporters.
