Hyderabad: BJP Malkajgiri MP Etala Rajendar appealed to party workers to hold more meetings on the importance of the ‘One Nation One Election (ONOE)’ proposal and strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and national forces in the country.
Taking part in a programme organised in this connection here, Rajendar said that under the one-election in place, only parties which run on the principles of democracy and were for the welfare of the people would win the elections. He illustrated this by saying the people of the state had voted against “an arrogant party” but had laid their faith in a party for a record third time at the Centre.
Rajender said that some political forces may come to power temporarily by cheating people, but the parties which trust and follow democratic principles would win under the ONOE plan.
Rajendar also said that if any investments were coming to the state, it was because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and not due to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
