Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will lead a rally to express solidarity with the Indian army that carried out strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and PoK.

A decision to this effect was taken during a high-level meeting convened in the wake of Operation Sindoor, by the Chief Minister senior officials at Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in Banjara Hills here on Wednesday.

The rally would be taken out from Secretariat to Necklace Road at 6 pm. The Chief Minister, Ministers and other leaders will be present. Interacting with officials during the meeting, Revanth Reddy said, "We need to send a message that we all stand with the country's army and there is no place for politics or parties at this time."

According to Revanth Reddy, cancel the leave of employees in essential services departments and all Ministers and employees must be available apart from cancelling foreign trips. Strict action will be taken if government employees make unnecessary statements in the media or on social media. A toll-free number would be available to the public round the clock, he said.

Those residing unofficially from countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh should be taken into custody immediately and an information system should be set up in the Command Control Center. Those who disturb peace and order should be dealt with strictly. Blood banks should be ready with sufficient blood reserves.

Emergency medicines should be ready and information on the availability of beds in private hospitals should be taken from time to time in addition to maintaining coordination with Red Cross.

He asked officials to ensure that there are adequate food reserves and wanted the police officials to be alert about cybersecurity apart from crackdown on those who spread fake news. As fake news is likely to increase anxiety among the people, a special cell should be set up to curb fake news, he said, asking officials that the CCTV cameras within the limits of the three commissionerates in the capital should be connected to the command control room.

All along all the district centers, sensitive areas should be alerted and security should be increased. Revanth Reddy said security should be increased near all consulates and IT companies in Hyderabad and the police in Hyderabad should be on high alert. If necessary, talk to peace committees. The police department should be vigilant regarding history sheeters and old criminals.
